About the organizers

The 17th Annual International Biocuration Conference is being jointly organized by the Indian Biological Data Center (ibdc.rcb.res.in) and University of Delhi South Campus (du.ac.in) for the first time in India. The Indian Biological Data Center (IBDC) is housed at the Regional Center for Biotechnology, Faridabad, Haryana, India. The data center is the first national data center mandated to archive all life science data generated by public funding in India.The data center has developed and maintains several web data portals for different type of data sets including nucleotide data, crop phenotyping data and structural biology data.

On the other hand University of Delhi, South Campus is one of the largest and prestigious universities in India. With a legacy of over 100 years, the university has 16 faculties and 86 departments distributed across its North and South campuses. The university has 91 constituent colleges and provides education to over 100,000 students every year.
